BALL MASTERY

Parents and Players:
After many sleepless nights and consulting local health officials, our coaching staff, and community leaders we have made the decision to cancel all of our summer camps.  We are grateful to be part of such a wonderful community and we feel that it is our responsibility to help flatten the curve as case numbers continue to rise. We have been working diligently with local departments that oversee the camp locations and they have instructed us that we can only have 20 or 40 players in attendance (depending on the location). With that being said, we do not have the ability to group players in age/skill appropriate sizes. We do not want to deliver a camp that is subpar or not to our standard.  This has been a very difficult decision for us to make, as we love our players, our camps and our coaches and being with everyone over the summer.

Coach Rob will offer private or small group sessions (2-4 players) for the remainder of the summer. If you are interested, please reach out to me at ([email protected]).  Otherwise, we are happy to refund your camp payment, give you a coupon for the amount of your camp to be used for ANY of our upcoming fall, winter or spring sessions, or for private session. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us at the numbers below. Thanks and we hope to see everyone in the FALL-

Ball Mastery Camps (Ages 7-11) (Monday-Thursday)
(Full and half-day camps available)

FULL DAY 9-3:00 PM      $255
HALF DAY 9-12:00 PM    $165

Ball Mastery camps are for campers ages 7-11 who have not been to our camps previously. Emphasis is placed on individual skill development and basic moves with the goal of developing confidence on the ball. Beginning “move sets” are taught and games are played to practice the moves in a method that starts with no pressure and slowly adds the pressure of time and/or space restrictions. Then passive defensive pressure is added and by the end of the first morning, players are performing moves under full defensive pressure to goal. The first touch is a major theme in Ball Mastery sessions.

At all levels, games are played to encourage the use of the specific skills being taught that day. Nearly three decades of cooperative curriculum development affords us a finely tuned method for getting the skills incorporated into the competitive environment as quickly as possible while building confidence along the way. The difficulty of the moves we teach and the intensity of the competition increases at each level.

Each Coerver Ball Mastery Camper will receive:

Coerver Camp T-shirt
Fueled daily with Gatorade
Participation Award
